The Texas Woman’s Anthem Award
The Texas Woman’s Anthem Award recognizes women in our community who have shown unwavering dedication and resilience in maintaining a business that serves as a cornerstone in their town. This award honors those who have either started their own business or inherited one yet have persevered through challenges with steadfast commitment and faith.
Background
The Texas Woman’s Anthem Award was inspired by Lorraine LeMon, who observed the strength of women in Texas and channeled that inspiration into her song, “Texas Woman’s Anthem,” recorded in 2020.
Eligibility Criteria
Nominees must have sustained a business, ranch, or proprietorship for 10 years or more and have made a significant impact in their community, serving as an inspiration to others.
Nomination Process
If you know a deserving candidate, please fill out the nomination form and submit it by October 30. Awardees will receive the distinguished “Glass Sparkled Boot” at the festival.
